Tash has been working within the Fitness Industry for the past 20 years, initially in the role of a Group Exercise Instructor and Leisure Centre Regional Group Exercise Co-ordinator. Broadening her experience and progressing within the Leisure Industry, Tash began to set up Swim Schools within David Lloyd Health Clubs and manage those within Leisure Centre Groups, alongside running Children’s Activity Programmes and working as a Fitness Manager to open up a new Gym.
In 2001, Tash became an Assessor for Fitness Qualifications and between 2008 – 2010 worked quickly towards gaining her Internal Verification and Full Teachers Qualifications.
For a number of years now, Tash has been involved in working with Training Providers to act as a Freelance Tutor, Assessor and IQA for Fitness Industry Qualifications and providing Consultancy support for those Organisations embarking on the new exciting journey of becoming a Training Provider and requiring Awarding Body and Quality Assurance advice and guidance.
Most recently Tash has been part of Curriculum Management Teams within Colleges and working in Quality Management roles for both Colleges and independent Training Providers, both positions seeing her play a key part in OFSTED Inspections and leading Awarding Body Visits and the development of Teaching, Learning and Assessment Strategies and Performance.
Tash continues to have an immense passion for Fitness and Sport and the ongoing desire to ensure that the highest standards are set and consistently being met within the Industry for safety, enjoyment and adherence of those taking part in physical exercise and wellbeing activities.
