Meet the team
Mark has over 20 years of employment within the Health and Fitness industry and educational sector, first qualifying as a Personal Trainer back in 2000.
Mark has a BSc and MSc in Exercise and Health Science from Liverpool JMU and the University of Exeter. Throughout his career, he has held positions Personal Trainer, Health Club Manager, educational tutor, assessor, IQA, and EQA and held the role of a Company Director on a Global Training provider for 8 years until the commencement of On Screen Learning. Mark helped to launch two successful Private Training Providers while supporting them academically via the On Screen Learning platform. Mark has be behind qualifying over 15,000 fitness professional across the world.
Mark has developed online learning/assessment material for arranging qualifications such as Gym, PT, Ante/Post Natal, Exercise Referral, Sports Massage, Kettlebells, Group Fitness class and much more. In 2010 Mark developed and mapped an online learning platform for learning/assessment to Reps Ireland and the EHFA. Mark has written over 15 REPs CPD courses from conception to approval.
Mark has also worked with Awarding Organisations to help develop regulated Qualifications on the CCEA/Ofqual.
Lori has substantial experience working within the Sport and Active Leisure Sector. Lori started her career as a Fitness Instructor and health club owner in Bristol. This followed with delivering accredited training for those wishing to enter the sector as a Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer within both private training provision such as All That Jazz, Premier Training and at City of Bath College. Lori’s career progressed to working as an EQA senior management/directorship positions within leading awarding organisations including YMCA Awards, VTCT, Active IQ and the charity, Youth Sport Trust. More recently Lori has worked as a Quality Consultant for a range of bodies including Sports Leaders UK and CIMSPA. Lori also provides internal quality assurance services to a range of private training providers in both the UK and internationally including UKCES.
Lori is a qualified FE teacher, External Quality Assurer, Internal Quality Assurer and Assessor. Lori won the YMCA Awards Innovation Award for creating a National Fitness Instructor competition for the sector, which is now recognised by World Skills.
Eileen is an EQA who has worked in the fitness, health and well-being industry for 25 years plus. She has an extensive background in education and has taught across the wide spectrum of subjects in sport, health and fitness in further and higher education. Her roles have been varied, including project management, qualification and assessment development, project management, course team leader and internal and external quality assurance.
Eileen has held positions the following positions, NCFE Technical reviewer, QA for YMCA Awards, Sports Leaders UK, Qualification development review (AIQ & NCFE), Market research and Technical expert/writer, iTEC subject Matter Expert, External Moderator, EQA and CIMSPA External quality assurance associate.
Eileen also has her own training company and works as an educational consultant for a range of Awarding organisations.
